There’s truly no better way to welcome June Pride Month than a live concert with SONiA disappear fear. Baltimore’s own Jewish Lesbian International gem Singer-Songwriter, Sonia Rutstein will jump to fill in for Tom Chapin who had to cancel this Thursday’s appearance at Temple Isaiah in Fulton.

SONiA disappear fear founded disappear fear an acoustic pop duo with a political message of a world without fear.

“This is a super busy spring – I toured in Germany from April 25 through May 19. The past two weeks I’ve headlined at several music festivals including the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas – we’ve been having a blast!”

SONiA is on tour now in the USA with Hanne Kah from Meinz, Germany. They will appear in Knoxville on WDVX RADIO then The Down Home. SONiA stops over briefly in Baltimore for this concert then has concerts in the Midwest all of this in support of her latest recording, Album 23.

SONiA received the Coin of Honor from joint forces of the United States Military for her humanitarian songs, first round Grammy nominations, female vocalist of the year for the GLAMA (Gay and Lesbian Music Awards), and the prestigious GLADD award for Best Album, an award given to Elton John and Melissa Etheridge in previous years.

“SONiA‘s music has parted the seas of prejudice and hatred ushering in a wave of love and kindness. Baltimore is lucky to have such a trail blazing talent.“ SONiA sings in Hebrew, Spanish, Arabic and English. In light of all the looming and massive discontent, it is refreshing to hear and see SONiA.
